2023-24 Performance Squad sign up
Applications for our performance squads for 2023/24 is now open.
With competitions for U12-U16s ranging from NW regional to ENG cups there is lots of opportunities for those players looking to commit to pushing themselves towards an high performance netball.
We welcome new members interested in trialling for our club and a spot on these squads.
Trial dates TBC early Sept
✅Players must be able to competently offer 2 positions
✅Willingness to engage in additional athlete development programme opportunities
U14 & U16 Regional Squads
NEW Lancashire Qualifying Competition pre Xmas competing against all other the Lancashire clubs (Top 2 squads in the Lancashire competition qualify for NW regional starting in Jan)
Eligible age groups for squads
U14 Regional Squad - U13 & U14
U16 Regional Squad- U15 & U16
Squad size of 12 with 2 training partners
ENG Cup
U12 Cup Squad (U12s are eligible to put themselves forward)
💚U13 Cup Squad (U13s are eligible to put themselves forward)
🤍U14 Cup Squad (U14s are eligible to put themselves forward)
U15 Cup Squad (U15s are eligible to put themselves forward)
***Important Note***
As a club we recognise the balance between striving for competition and the age and development of our girls. We'll endeavor to ensure that their court time is managed effectively for development and recovery and some instances we may take smaller or larger squads to competitions as well as prioritising court time at regional/cup games over local or Bury league matches.
